Jo Allsop

Jo is originally from the UK. From the age of five Jo took dance classes and examinations in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Contemporary dance styles with Footlights Dance School in Kings Lynn. At the age of eight she was taking singing and piano lessons and started competing in dance competitions all over the country.

With Footlights Jo got to perform on some wonderful stages including: The Royal Albert Hall, Saddlers Wells, Her Majesty's Theatre as well as performing at The Grand opening of Walt Disney Studios Disneyland, Paris and also on Broadway, New York.

From seven years old Jo was involved amateur dramatics, starting out as chorus and small roles then at fourteen, she began to get main cast and lead roles in shows such as: Alice in Wonderland, Annie Get Your Gun, Jesus Christ Superstar and Bewitched just to name a few! 

​

Having completed a BTech National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre and receiving a Triple Distinction in 2004 she moved to Cyprus in 2005.

​

Firstly, Jo worked for Atlantica Hotels providing entertainment. Following that Jo started hosting karaoke nights, children's parties and started performing her first tribute show 'Shady GaGa' as well as live singing through the decades and adding Greek songs to her repertoire.

​

Jo has also has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside some incredible solo/tribute artists and bands.

​

Jo also had the pleasure of being involved with Paphos Adult Panto for four years, playing Aladdin in 'Aladdin',

Jack in 'Jack and his giant stalk', The Evil Queen and Director of Snow White and Captain Hook and Director of Peter Pants!

Jo started Med Entertainment in 2012 to offer more entertainment packages for any occasion and  increasing the number of shows available.

Jo is constantly updating her shows and working at least a year in advance to ensure that Med Entertainment provides only the best...

We now hold SBA Licence and BFC Itinerant Traders

agreements for Akrotiri and Episkopi bases for Mobile Entertainment/Impersonating services so rest assured we have clearance and access if your event is on the base.

We also hold Public Liability Insurance for Cyprus island wide so no matter where your event is being held we can provide you the entertainment you desire.
